The fastest Bentley yet made its debut at Frankfurt this year. The twin turbo W12 powerplant from the GT has been tinkered with to produce an enormous 600PS, a 48PS increase. The W12 engine’s ability to make 9 percent more power and 15 percent more torque is thanks to tweak in the boost output of its twin low inertia turbos. Almost all engine internals have been re-engineered to reduce mass, including the pistons, connecting rods and even the timing chain. The styling has been revised with a new grille which allows the Speed to breather better and adds to the aggressive aura. The 20-inch wheels, low profile rubber, optional carbon fiber ceramic brakes haul the speed down. However the most striking factor of this Bentley happens to be its looks. Surprisingly the inspiration lies in the iconic ‘Speed’ models dating back to 1923.
