BMW recently unveiled a completely new class of vehicle dubbed the X6, styled on the lines of a coupe but harnessing the power of a hard-core 4WD crossover. For the first time in BMW history, an entire model range is turbocharged with the X6 offering a quartet of forced induction power plants. From the range topping 400PS plus 4.4-litre via to the 2007 Engine of the Year 3.0-litre twin turbo petrols, the X6 has a plethora of power plants to give it enthusiast performance credo. There is also the caption of 2 diesel engine one of which is one of the most powerful in the world unleashing 230PS plus max power and an, incredible 530Nm plus max torque.
The X6 also debuts BMW's Dynamic Performance Control which in a nutshell works by spreading drive forces from side to side at the two rear wheels as required in a given situation.
