Slated to be Suzuki's D-segment challenger, the Kizashi 1 concept is all set to make it into production. First shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the radical looking concept should make it to showrooms in Europe by 101O and, importantly, is set to be made at Maruti's Manesar plant. A 2.0-litre turbodiesel puling out dose to l5OPs will power the Kizashi, mated to company's first six-speed automatic gearbox (to be manufactured all Maruti new drive train plant)and i-AWD(intelligent all-wheeldrive),another list for a Suzuki car. Positioned as a hybrid concept form, it is rumoured that Suzuki is already working on development of hatchback and estate versions to follow the saloon with hybrid power rain plan pulon hold for now.
As seen in concept form, the Kizashi isn't a regular three-box design but gets a sloping roofline like a crossover between slate and sports coupe.
