If you wanted to buy a Porsche in Mumbai, and didn’t know where to go, there’s an address now. The Porsche Centre? Mumbai has opened up at Kemps Corner in South Mumbai and the eight crore rupee facility will not only sell you Porsches, but even maintain them for you. The occasion also brought about the Carrera GT, the now discontinued supercar for the first time to India for display purposes. While the car is not for sale, the company hopes to bring in the equally capable and fast 997 GT2 early next year. Porsche meanwhile plan to open more showrooms in cities like Bangalore and Chennai next year, to add to their Mumbai and Delhi facilities.
