In a significant move Genera Motors is planning to launch variants of the Aveo and the Spark with new trim levels and safety equipment.

A close look at the spy picture reveals that the Aveo will get airbags as well as an anti-theft security device. The Spark variant dubbed the SE gets more up market beige interiors. The cars are currently being homologated so it should not be too long before GM announces a launch date, ideally introducing them at the Auto Expo 2008 heavy Spark in SE trim to get up market beige trim as seen in he spy shot above U-VA to get airbags and Integrated anti-theft device in the new trim.
