The Reva, lndia's first electric car, has recently been upgraded. Along with a new name - REVAi - it features upgraded interiors and improved aesthetics as well a more powerful air conditioning and drive train system.

It has a claimed top speed of 80kph, as compared to the 65kph of the earlier car and also improved performance and range. Its unique features include the colour-impregnated body panels, which are scratch and dent-resistant, certainly a useful feature in our country. The REVAi is available in the UK, Spain, Norway, Cyprus, Greece and Malta as well as India. Prices start from Rs 3.49 lakh with useful bits like CD/MP3 player, leather seats and climate-controlled seats being offered as optional extras.
