Rolls-Royce Motor Cars delivered the first Phantom Drophead coupe to an Indian in Mumbai. The convertible priced above Rs 3 crore should make a very good and expensive Christmas present. Rolls-Royce has being doing pretty well in India having sold over half a dozen cars since last year. Considering that it has to date manufactured just around 3000 cars since the company was re-launched in 2003 it is very good going.
Rolls-Royce has also announced that it will shortly be starting series production of the 101EX, an experimental 2-door that seats four. The car will complete the family line-up of the Phantom though it will have a mildly tuned version of the same engine that drives the Phantom.
