Tata Motors gave motoring enthusiasts an early Christmas present and a reason to celebrate by launching what is India's first track-n-road car. Starting next year you would be able to buy an Indica challenge car fitted with a FIA spec roll cage, racing seats and 4-point seat belts.

The changes are not limited to the interior and limited edition Indica’s will now produce 115PS @6000rpm, courtesy a new motor. The engine has also been fitted with a competition air filter and a free flow exhaust. The gear lever is of a short throw quick shift type and has an optional limited slip differential. The car also has competition racing struts and the dampers can be adjusted for bump, rebound and ride height. For better handling the car has also been lowered and is fitted with 185/55 R15 semi slick competition alloy rims.
