Adding to the list of cars we-can’t-afford, now in India, is the Phantom Drophead Coupe. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recently unveiled its latest two-door, four-seater convertible in Mumbai.
The Drophead is built on an aluminum spaceframe, whose rigidity is essential given some of the power at work here. The heart of the Coupe is a 6.75 – litre V12 engine that produces 75 percent of its engine power at just 1,00rpm.
The coupe is 225mm shorter than the Phantom and it promises soothe turn-ins as a result.
The Drophead Coupe is available from Ts 3.10 crore onwards.
