M&M has launched the Scorpio 2.2VLX that employs the all-new m-Hawk engine. The smaller capacity engine nevertheless delivers decent on power and torque and better efficiency and performance than the previous generation Scorpio. M&M has also packaged in cruise control, reverse sensors, electronic tyre pressure indicators and captain seats in the middle row. The new Scorpio also gets ABS to improve asking. The price at around Rs 10 lakh is pretty steep and there is no variant available as yet though a 4WD version is expected.

M&M has also begun export the Scorpio, Scorpio Pik-Up and Bolero Pik-Up to Sudan.
