Tata’s 1-lakh car, which has created such a flutter and is one of the most eagerly awaited cars in India, will occupy pride of place at the Tata stall. These are exciting times for the homegrown car maker indeed, and rubbing shoulders with the l-lakh car will be the new Tata Sumo, itself the largest-selling vehicle in India at one point of time. Tata will also be displaying the X1, or the next-gen Indica, The X1 features long headlights, an all-new interior and a centrally-mounted instrument cluster, and will be available with a newly developed 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated diesel motor.
