After a long wait the new Beetle is finally here!

The new Beetle is the best of its class and segment with its enhanced power, performance and style.

The two-door and four-seat hatchback comes with a 2.0L I4 petrol engine of 115 bhp on par with the latest technology. The gearbox is a 6-speed auto-transmission, with a fuel consumption of 13.5 km/and complies with Euro IV emission norms.

The new Beetle comes with safety features such as EDL, ABS with EBD, ESP and dual-frontal and side airbags. The interiors of the new Beetle are furnished with leather upholstery. Leather covered steering with 3-spokes, a 6 CD changer, cosy glove box, electrically adjustable mirrors, traction control, central locking, height-adjustable front seats and electric sliding roof with sunblind are the other features available in it.

The Beetle is available in razor blue, salsa red, reflex silver, sunflower yellow, deep black, Gecko green and Campanula white. The Beetle comes with wheels of 15 inch alloys wheels, engine in the bonnet and front wheel drive (The classic Beetle had its engine at the rear and the boot in the front).

Currently Volkswagen is importing the Beetle from their Mexico factory as a Completely Built Unit(CBU) with a 110 percent import duty imposed on it, as a result of which the ex-show room price raises to a whopping 23 lakhs in Indian currency.
